Listen and Choose a Response
Select the best response to the question or statement you hear.
Eleven task types across four sections. Pick a section, then a task — each set runs the real instructions and the real clock, and returns a 1–6 band with the criteria that moved it. One free attempt per task type, unlimited with Premium.
Listening follows the same adaptive logic. The routing module mixes Listen and Choose a Response, short Conversations and Announcements and Academic Talks — all at natural speed, with answers due immediately after each input.

Answer questions about short conversations in everyday campus situations.
Answer questions about announcements and academic talks.
Lectures are shorter and the section is adaptive. The routing module is deliberately non-academic, so everyday campus English now carries as much weight as a professor talking about geology.
Immediate response, not note-taking. You answer right after each input, so there is no time to reconstruct the audio from notes — the skill is holding a short utterance accurately and reacting to it.
You can, but on the routing module notes cost more time than they save. Save note-taking for Announcements and Academic Talks, where the input is longer and structure matters.
Yes. Expect several standard varieties of English across the module, at natural conversational speed, with no repetition of the audio.
