20 official-format TOEFL 2026 mock tests with band scoring
Each mock runs the real 2026 order and clock — adaptive Reading, adaptive Listening, Writing, Speaking — in about ninety minutes, and returns a 1–6 band for every section as soon as you finish. Mock 01 is free on any account; all twenty come with Premium, with unlimited scoring and retakes.
Every mock returns four bands and the path you were routed onto
No 0–120 total to hide behind: the report names the section capping your profile, shows which criteria moved each band, and plays back your Speaking responses next to the descriptors.

How mock scoring works
The same three things decide your band on a mock and on the real test: the routing decision, accuracy inside the module you unlocked, and delivery on the productive tasks.
The routing decision
Reading and Listening open on a non-academic module. Four of six correct unlocks the academic module and the 6/6 ceiling; below that the band is capped whatever you do next.
Accuracy in your module
Inside the module you unlocked, accuracy and pace set the band in half steps. The report shows item-level accuracy so you can see whether time or comprehension cost you.
Delivery on Writing and Speaking
Productive tasks are scored against the 2026 descriptors — completeness and register for the email, development for the discussion, fluency and intelligibility for the two Speaking tasks.
Mock test questions
Are these official ETS tests?
No. They are our own mock tests, written to the published 2026 specification and matched to it in section order, task types, timing and scoring. TOEFL is a registered trademark of ETS and this product is not endorsed or approved by ETS.
How long does one mock take?
About ninety minutes of testing plus a short setup and microphone check. You can pause between sections in practice mode, or run it strictly end to end for a realistic rehearsal.
How soon do I get my bands?
Reading and Listening bands are returned immediately. Writing and Speaking are scored within a few minutes, and you can request a human review on top.
Can I retake the same mock?
Yes — Premium includes unlimited scoring, so you can retake and rescore any of the twenty. The routing decision is replayed each run, so a retake is never the same test twice.
Do I need a microphone?
Yes for Speaking. Any headset microphone works. Listen and Repeat and Take an Interview both record you, and the recording is attached to the band report so you can hear what cost the points.
What happens if I fail the routing module?
You continue on the easier module and your band is capped. The report says so explicitly, tells you how many items you missed the threshold by, and links the routing drills — this is the single highest-leverage fix on the test.
Is the mock adaptive like the real test?
Yes. Reading and Listening branch on your routing accuracy exactly as the real sections do, which is why a mock is the only reliable way to find your true ceiling.
In which order should I sit the twenty?
Start with Mock 01, the diagnostic — it is free on any account. After that follow the focus label: pick the mocks weighted towards your limiting section, and save Mock 20 for a final rehearsal in the week before your test.
Are new mock tests added?
Yes. Our experts add new tests to the library, and every Premium plan includes access to all newly added test questions at no extra cost.
Drill the section that capped you
Practice sets for all eleven tasks run the same clock as the mock, so the fix happens under the same pressure.
